Overview

Material bin (also known as material chute). Grasshopper chute is a commonly used facility in the mechanical and chemical treatment systems of steel plants, ensuring a balanced and continuous supply of bulk materials to various production workshops, fully utilizing equipment capacity.

Traditionally, gates and chutes are two separate independent parts, with various types of gates mostly installed under material bins (chutes). Opening and closing the gates allow or cut off the material flow. The power for operating gates is divided into manual and mechanical transmission, with mechanical transmission further categorized into pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic transmission, each having its drawbacks in use.

We have summarized years of design, production, and usage experience with material bins, gates, and chutes, and introduced a product that combines the gate and chute into one, allowing arbitrary adjustment of material flow—the electro-hydraulic flow adjusting gate. It is available for selection by design and production units.

The power source of the electro-hydraulic flow adjusting gate uses an electric hydraulic push rod, avoiding the defects of other mechanical transmissions, and is equipped with a labor-saving manual operating mechanism. This device can be widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal mining, power, cement, chemical, and other sectors.
